Community Involvement

The Waste Authority participates in many community functions in the county

We have an Event Trailer complete with prize wheel, important literature and information on our recycling locations and recycling tips.  It is a mobile trailer that has made many appearances at local fairs.  It is a special attraction for the children as they spin the wheel and win a prize every time. In addition to participating in community events, The Waste Authority works closely with the 4 school districts in our county by either jump starting their existing recycling efforts or establishing guidlelines to proper waste management and recycling.  Click here to see where the trailer has been.
